Abstract

The reflection I share below consists of three parts. First, I will express what could be called a «phenomenological inquiry» into the experience of evil. Next, I will describe some of the ideas put forward by Paul Ricoeur in his essay entitled Evil... A Challenge to Theology and Philosophy (2006), in which he proposes to complement the «theoretical reflection on evil» with what the philosopher calls «responses of action and feeling». Finally, I will outline some personal conclusions on the matter.
